Working for Mountain Highs

We require two people to work in our catered chalet Rasera in the centre of Morzine. We need a chalet couple or two people applying together, at least one of whom must be a qualified or experienced cook. Duties involve rising early, preparing and serving breakfast, baking a cake, cleaning rooms and bathrooms, weekly shopping, preparing and serving a 3-course dinner (with early childrens' suppers when needed). It's a 6-day week with one full day off mid-week. You need to have experience cooking for groups of people and dealing with the general public, and you need to be independent, resourceful, energetic, cheerful, outgoing, flexible and well-presented. Minimum age 25, one person must be a driver and both must be non-smokers.

Salary: Dependent on age / experience but minimum €150 per week.

This is 2 roles within a job so we need someone with very specific experience and skills. At weekends (and sometimes during the week) the Resort Manager takes charge of all the arrivals / departures of our self-catered clients, which involves checking and cleaning apartments, doing laundry runs, making up beds, buying grocery packs, managing cleaners, booking lift passes, ski lessons and childcare. On 3 weekdays he or she ski guides our catered clients around the Portes du Soleil. It's a 6-day week with one full day off mid-week. We are looking for an enthusiastic person with hospitality / rep / management experience, a good skier aged preferably 30+, who has a clean driving license and a good sense of direction and can speak some French! We provide own (not shared) accommodation.

Salary: dependent on age / experience, approx €200 per week.
