Residence des Alpes D - sleeps 4 - 6

We have 3 apartments in this handsome 200-year old building, which was once a hotel, and was sympathetically converted into 8 apartments of a luxury standard in 2004.

The location is superb – right in the town centre, opposite Morzine church, next to the Dranse river and just a stone’s throw from the supermarket, boulangerie, bars and restaurants. It’s 5 minutes walk up the vibrant Rue du Bourg to Pleney, but you can also hop on the “D” bus which runs in a loop round the town centre and stops by the church.

Each apartment has a parking space and a secure ski & boot locker at ground level. There is a lift.

Apartment D is the best of our smaller apartments, and is ideal for 2 couples or one family, as it has 67 m² of space on 2 floors.

It is comfortable and decorated in a homely “cottage” style. Entry is directly off the entrance foyer, into an open-plan lounge / dining area and kitchen, with glass-fronted fireplace and balconies on both sides, and balcony furniture.

The sofa can convert into a double bed (with 2 single duvets). The compact kitchen is well-equipped and there is a WC off the lounge. Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms; the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom with bath, shower and WC, and the second bedroom has double bed, shower room and WC.

Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and French doors leading out onto a sunny balcony overlooking the river.
